Summer Camp Counselor
SEEKING ENERGETIC AND CARING INDIVIDUALS TO BE PART OF OUR 2019 SUMMER TEAM! The Fowler Center is a year-round non-profit camp for children and adults with disabilities located on 202 beautiful acres of countryside in Michigan's thumb. We offer programs in challenge education, sports & rec, creative arts, horseback riding, outdoor education, barn & garden, primitive camping, boating, and swimming & fishing. We are looking for individuals who want more than just a job this summer. Help us make a difference in the lives of the campers and families we serve. Staff are responsible for the supervision, activity engagement, and personal care (i.e. dressing, bathing, feeding, etc) of campers. Cabin Counselors will create and maintain a positive, engaging, and fun cabin atmosphere for campers. Outpost Counselors will help campers develop outdoor living skills. Specialty Counselors will assist campers in learning a variety of new skills. Leadership positions available.
